Grow Guide

Dahlia Growing Guide

Plant tubers in well-draining soil after danger of frost has passed.

Place tuber 4–6 inches deep with the eye facing upward.

Water lightly at planting, then wait until growth appears before regular watering.

Once growing, water consistently and keep soil evenly moist.

Stake taller varieties early to support blooms.

Deadhead regularly to encourage continuous flowering.

Lift and store tubers after first frost in colder climates.
